Ecoboost 3.5L or 5.0L V8 on a F150 FX2

I would like to see what the general feeling is reagarding the engine package options for this truck. I have read many articles, reviews and the new and great Ecoboost. However, my humble opinion is that this engine is a very strong power plant and it is intended for heavier towing capability and better fuel economy.

The 5.0L is more intended for everyday use and more of a recreational use? Although I could be wrong with my statements. Your thoughts please.
